We have a hands on approach to treatment using evidence-based practice and all our
physiotherapists have post graduate training.
TONY BEAUMONT B.Sc., Grad. Dip. (Physio) Grad. Dip. App. Sc. (Manip. Physio)
Tony has been a musculoskeletal physiotherapist for over 30 years. He specialises in the treatment of musculo-
skeletal dysfunction including rehabilitation of orthopaedic and sporting injuries and exercise prescription.
He has particular interest in the treatment of sporting back and headache. Tony has been on the Olympic
Athletes Program for the past 25 years, including the gold medal winning Men's Hockey Team in 2004 and
was the spokesperson for Physiotherapy for the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
He is currently a consultant physiotherapist to St George Hospital Emergency Department and director of
back@work software, a computer based ergonomic program and is available in our Caringbah rooms Monday to
Friday.
Tony has particular interest in:
- Treatment of the acute back and headaches
- Corporate wellness
PAULA KAIRAITIS B.App.Sc (Physio), M.App.Sc (Manip. Physio) Grad. Dip. (Exer & Sports Sc.)
Paula has been part of the team for over 20 years, initially as an employee and then becoming a partner. She has
over 25 years experience as a physio in both hospital and private practice settings. Paula has completed her post
graduate diploma in exercise and sports science in 1994, then went on to achieve a Masters in Manipulative Physio-
therapy in 1996, Paula is a titled member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Paula enjoys the challenge
of assessing injuries from a biomechanical perspective. She is now working 4 days a week at our Caringbah rooms
and also attends a fracture clinic with an orthopaedic surgeon each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Paula has particular interest in:
- Neck and back, headaches
- Fracture management including casting, splinting and post operative rehabilitation.
KYM POTTINGER B.Phty Hons. (1st Class)
With over 25 years experience as a physiotherapist, Kym has worked in major hospitals in Australia, Canada and the
UK. She has extensive experience in paediatrics and a particular interest on the 0-5 year age group.
Kym has worked as a physiotherapist in paediatrics at Mater Children's Hospital (Brisbane), BC Children’s
Hospital (Vancouver), Sydney Children's Hospital (Randwick) and University College Hospital (London). Kym is a
member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and also of the APA’s National Paediatric Group.
She is a registered NDIS provider and a member of the Early Intervention Service Provider Panel, providing physio-
therapy for children under the Better Start Initiative.
Kym is passionate about access to physical activity for young people with disability and enjoys the challenge
of encouraging people (especially teenagers) to be more physically active.
